First Swim Meet

On Sunday Gwyneth swam in her first swim meet.  She discovered her love of swimming this past spring and summer, and started swimming on a local swim team when school started this year.  It is all for fun and great exercise!

She participated in her first swim meet, the 41st Annual Thanksgiving Invitational, hosted by the Boise YMCA swim team.  Gwyneth's good friend, Emma, also was swimming in her first meet, so it was nice to have a buddy.

 

Gwyneth swam in a 100m relay, 25m backstroke and 25m freestyle.

First Lost Tooth

Big day for Mac!  He lost his first tooth!!!  Maybe next time he looses a tooth he won't feel compelled to come announce it to Fred and I at 5:30am!!! :-)  He was just a little excited!!!

He will get his first visit from the Tooth Fair tonight (if she remembers!!!!)!

Another "Masterpiece"

Mac is NEVER without a piece of paper and some sort of writing instrument (is that the right word, or is it implement?  Fred and I could not agree, so I went with his word.)

Here is another drawing that he whipped up on the way to take Gwyneth to swim team practice tonight.  It is of a tiger shark.

Future Basketball Star

This past week Mac took part in a YMCA Basketball Experience camp.  He LOVED it!!!  He wants me to sign him up for another camp!

Gwyneth's New Bed

Gwyneth is really excited for her new loft bed!  It was quite an ordeal getting it put together, but it was finally completed yesterday afternoon, and last night was her first night sleeping in it.  Now I just need to finish up a few more details, and the room is complete!

Mac is also excited to get up there...when his sister lets him!
